How to update/change my bootloader????

hey

i'm using the default bootloader at the moment, but it is very old (january or so). so i just want to ask wether i can update the bootloader or if i jahve to delete the whole thing and to reinstall it again.

i'm a windows user and also interested to change my bootloader. thx and sry for my bad englisch. i'm german

Yes.  The installation instructions cover installing the bootloader.  Once you have run all of the ipodpatcher and ipod_fw commands (with correct arguments) the new bootloader will be installed.  Although I'm not sure how much the bootloader has changed lately.

You will not have to delete /.rockbox/ or rockbox.ipod
