H10 Skipping on playback when on WPS

(1/1)

paulvf:
Hi all,
I just installed rockbox on an H10 (todays Daily Build). When I play a file, I get a pause about avery few seconds. I can see a small icon in the upper right corner flash and then the song continues. If I move to any other screen (say the screen to set shuffle pattern) and leave it, the player plays correctly with no skipping.
Second issue, cannot seem to find options menu, can someone guide me?

Thanks,
paulvf

paulvf:
OK Quick update;

1. I found the menu (RTFM) :D
2. When I changed from the default rockbox theme to 'icatcher' the issue with playback did not occur. Could it be something with the default settings for the peak meter?
thanks,
Paul

Febs:
Yes, this is a known issue.  The peak meters are fairly CPU intensive and can cause skipping on platforms that are not well-optimized.

I hope I'm not sounding like a broken record here:

Paulvf, why not take this opportunity to run some tests so that you may report to the RB community how different files playback on your specific target?
