iriver h320 - basic questions

It's interesting. For some reason my h320 is behaving differently than my h120 with the clipping backlight. I'm going to take a closer look at my h120 settings to see if I can discern any differences. When recording I set my levels conservatively so the clipping light shouldn't be a huge issue. I think rockbox is incredible, and this is definitely something I can live with if I can't figure out how to change it.

To further narrow the problem down could you please say whether the clipping indicator (the small line at the end of the peak meter) was on most of the time?
This mark appears whenever clipping is detected and as petur said it stay on the display show for Clip Hold Time seconds from the last clipping. When the mark disappears the backlight should turn off after the Backlight timeout seconds.

yes, wav, wavpack and mp3
