I have Ipod photo

let's get start...

1. how I can hear music and charge the battery together? (I know the Iriver can).

2. I dont know why my rockbox get frozen after he play some song (it can happen after hour or after a minute).
after a long tests I get into the title calld "Debug (keep Out)" and I see thet when I play song my "cpu freq" stand on 75 and this is the top (I can feel the Ipod is hot), and the "boost ratio" stand on 0%
so I change it...and it's make it better but it steel frozzzz after some time...but the bigest problem is thet when I get the rockbox shut and made him start again he didnt remember the changes I mad (he remember only the "wps" files...)
so what can I do to make the rockbox work without get frozen and without make the Ipod drive so hot?

3. how I know my battery power (700-1000)?

4. why my battery get empty so quickly (something like 6.5-7 hours)?

thanks on everything and everyone.

Read the IpodFaq wiki page.

Regarding part of #2: to save changes, you need to turn off the ipod once (as in, turn it off before it locks up or dies completely from dead battery).

#3: That setting isn't important--it only affects how Rockbox calculates battery % remaining.

Actually, it's used to estimate the time remaining, not for the %.

As far as I'm aware, the % is based on the voltage reading, and then the time remaining estimate is based on calibration values and what you've set the mAH at. I may be off though. :)
