Problems When Compliling

(1/5) > >>

joetermini:
Hey, I finally got the patches to work, and when finally compiling, i get all the way up to the "make" command. I enter it, and after a few lines, it tells me:

make[1]: Warning: File `/cygdrive/c/cygwin/home/terminikids/rockbox-devel/build/
firmware/dep-firmware' has modification time 0.16 s in the future

and a little later:

Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete

and a few others of that nature.

At the very end, I get

make: *** [all] Error 2

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

Rincewind:
are you running vmware?
if yes, wait a few minutes between copying the files from windows and typing make.

ryran:
Nopers, he's not.
(I have nothing to offer Joe..sorry.)

bluebrother:
That clock skew is a warning. I haven't seen (and can't think of any reason) why compiling should break due to a clock skew so I assume the reason why your build breaks is something else. Additionally you could try to "touch" all files before compiling as a workaround.
