Nano stuck in boot loop after trying to uninstall Rockbox

My nano is stuck in a boot cycle and will not boot into a crash mode by holding down the menu/select buttons.  I deleted the rockbox.ipod file, but then my itunes started up and my computer took my ipod out of disk mode, so I could not finish the uninstall and now it is stuck in a reboot cycle.  IS there anything I can do to get my nano in disk mode so my computer will see it and I can finish with the uninstall?  It just sets there and reboots over and over and pressing the menu/select buttons does not take it into disk mode.  Please help..

I got it, was not pressing the play/select buttons to enter the disk mode.  I got it now and have uninstalled...
