iPod Nano M2V Mpeg Video with Audio

I know the video question about the first gen Nano's has been asked a billion times, but in all my searching I couldn't find anything about audio.

I downloaded the elephants dream, but it has no audio. I also did the conversion to an m2v from an mpg, but it had no audio on the nano or my computer.

Does rockbox not support audio in an m2v yet? Or am I just a retard and can't get it to work?

Sorry if this has been asked before, but I did try searching, all I found were people trying to get just video working. But I've gotten that far without help =)

m2v files don't have audio. They are pure video.

Rockbox doesn't support audio with video yet. And no, we do not know when it will be. It's not a major priority for the core programmers, as Rockbox focuses on audio functionality, and nobody who claims to want it 'a lot' has wanted it enough to spend time learning and/or working on it.
