Problem after installing Rockbox, freeze.

(1/2) > >>

I'm desperate. I installed Rockbox and it worked. I put on a song and tried it out. After a while it started getting crazy. The menues were going up and down, and I couldn't control it. Finally it freezed. Now it doesn't work at all, but I still see what song I was listening to.

I tried to connect it to the computer, but it doesn't work. The light on it still works, but that's about it. What to do now? I'm totally desperate...

Febs:
Pressing and holding the Menu and Select buttons simultaneously will reset the player.  You will not lose any data.

dykarN:
Doesn't work. The light turns on when I press all the buttons down, but that's about it. I still see the screen on what I saw listening to, though.

dykarN:
Now I pressed the MENU button and the round button in the middle, and it worked. Before, I was pushing down all buttons available, because I thought you said it was supposed to be that way. Why did this happen, though? Bug?

No, I did not say that at all.  I very clearly said "Pressing and holding the Menu and Select buttons simultaneously will reset the player."  As I'm sure you are aware from reading the Rockbox Manual, the center button IS the select button.
