Font comparable to the one in iCatcher Theme? Font Colors?

(1/2) > >>

jajaja:
Hello,
I'm working on a different wps, and I'm getting started modifying the iCatcher Theme that comes with rockbox.
Is there any non-bold font that's the same height and width as the one used in that theme? Because with different fonts all the images appear at the wrong places...
I checked the wiki but didn't find specific font information.

And is there a way yet to use different fonts or font colours in one wps?

thanks for your help

I'm slightly confused by your questions:

Fonts are usually named to include at least their height. Picking a different one with the same height should mean at least that the line spacing remains the same.

I presume you mean the text appears misplaced to the graphics. With the exception of the progress bar (which is treated as a line), the graphics should all be in the same place whatever the font...
Try and explain more exactly what changes you are trying to make and what does not work for you.

ok, iCatcher uses atadore which is 9px I presume. I tried HelvR10 which is the same size of the letters but a different line spacing... i guess? so I need to find a 9px non bold font...

you're right, only the progress bar was out of place. if it's treated as a line, that means you cannot fix it absolutely to a position, right? cuz the grafix of the progress bar in icatcher themselves are fixed...

No, atadore is a 7-pixel font. I don't have HelvR10 on my player, but it must be a 10-pixel tall font, which means that the layout will be completely off.

If you really want to just change the font, you will need to find another one the same height, otherwise you will have to reposition the graphics to suit the different text layout.

Correct, it moves with the line spacing.

Actually Julius has a patch that is used for this exact thing so it is a yes.
