Hardware specifically designed for RockBox
« on: October 23, 2006, 09:48:47 AM »
Perhaps a silly question. but is there any possibility of hardware being specifically designed for RockBox?

We're beginning to see hobbyist electronics kits for MP3 players somthign like the shuffle. What do you think are the chances of a hard disk based design with a screen that is designed to run RockBox from the ground up?

As a secondary possibility, is anyone from the group talking to the minor PMP manufacturers (such as Visonix) about building hardware with Rockbox pre-installed?

I think both your questions are answered (or at least discussed) in this thread
