Transparency
« on: October 22, 2006, 02:59:29 AM »
Just wondering how to make indicators transparent, such as the volume and play buttons. I cant stand seeing a white box around the volume meter  :P

I've tried trimming the pixels off in photoshop and exporting PNG and GIF images but rockbox doesnt seem to support them. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

Thanks

Only .BMP is supported and pixels on bmp image wich color is 255  0  255 is transparent
Look here: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/CustomWPS#Images

Notes:

The images must be in a rockbox compatible format (see table below for model specific BMP compatibility).

The color [R=255,G=0,B=255] is translated as transparent when used in BMP's, and can be used to create transparent images in the wps.
