ipod 4g installation help

I'm having trouble with step 2 in the windows manual where it says to change the directory folder. I can't seem to figure this part out. If anyone could plz help me out, thx.

What problem are you having with it exactly? Do you not know how to change folder, or what? Saying that the step is giving you a problem doesn't tell us what exactly the problem is, just that you are having one.

Ok i'm sorry. Yes i can't change the directory to c:\rockbox

You've made the folder? What happens when you try to change to it? What are you typing?

It's very hard to help when you provide so little information, as again you've told me now that you can't change to it, but haven't told me if this is because you don't know how, or because you get an error, and if so, what that error is.

Ok once again i'm sorry, this is hard cause i don't understand the instructions. But to be specific it says to hit start, "execute", then type cmd. i'm assuming this means start, "run", then type cmd. so at that cmd window is where i need help. i've tried typing c:\rockbox , \rockbox , i get an error saying that it's a not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

*ok i figured it out. Llorean plz don't judge me by this first post of mine. That was a mess i know. I guess I can leave this by saying the instructios need to be fixed to say start, run..., then type cmd. i assume there is a place to suggest this fix so i'll look for it. thanks for help.
