Formating a mac file system to Fat32
« on: October 20, 2006, 10:01:15 PM »
Greetings all, I did something stupid. When I bought my Ipod I forgot to ask if it was a Mac or Windows Ipod. I got a Mac one but want to use Rockbox.
To use Rockbox the Ipod has to be formatted using Fat32. I for the life of me cannot find out how to do that.
Has anyone out there had this experience and if so could you show me where to find the appropriate information?

Thanks in advance.

If you have a windows computer, simply using the apple restore tool should do it.
