n00b help - H10 6G hang during bootloader

I've searched for a bit and haven't seen any posts like this. This is my first time trying to use rockbox so I'm not 100% sure what the boot loader screen should look like.

Problem:
After putting everything on the H10, it gets to the boot loader screen and then just sits there and does not load the firmware. I do not see any error code when this happens.

I've tried the last three builds for the H10 (20th, 19th and 18th.)

Just to see what would happen, I removed the firmware leaving only the BL in place. There was no change in behavior.

In one post I read that the .rockbox folder and the rockbox.h10 had to be set as hidden, so I tried that as well.

I also tried a custom BL someone made with the rockbox logo. Same behavior.

I tried the UMS BL (my device is MTP) and got the expected "system files missing" error.

Directory of device:
\.rockbox\
\rockbox.h10
\system\H10.mi4

Now the question, what am I missing? It doesn't sound like anyone else is hitting this so it must be something obvious.

The very same problem here, H10, 5GB... first time that I tried to install rockbox. Tried build 10/31, 10/30 and 10/01 (to see if an earlier version works).

Could it possibly be the bootloader? As it stops during boot without any error message...

Something which might help (or not): When the device is stuck while displaying the above info the harddrive makes some noise (not as loud as when the device is bootet with the original firmware)

Do you have the Pure version(no radio)? Alot of people with these player can't get rockbox to work for an unknown reason.

Mine is with FM radio... I bought it in Japan though...

i´ve exactly the same problem. I tried different versions of Rockbox and some avaiable bootfolders, but every try ended up in the boot hang up... does anybody has an idea?
