Charging 2. gen Nano?

Hi first Rockbox looks Greate!
Second i have a Ipod nano 2 gb (think it is 2. gen) after flasing, it seams that the ipod isent Charging ?, i just goes black, after some time  Evendoh the Ipod is in the charger.. any ideas?

Just a note, your nano must be 1st gen because 2nd gen Nano's are not supported by Rockbox. I can't help you with your question though, because I don't have an iPod.

What do you mean "goes black"? When a USB cable is connected to Rockbox, whether to charge or sync, it should reboot into hardware disk mode.

Or does your charger charge via the firewire pins?

I charge via the USB, and it starts up fine, looks like Charging, but the life span og the batteriy musth be very short (evendoh the indicator says full) because it dies after around 10-20 min of play time, (works fine with org. firmware)

 but is it Dommed  because of the 2. gen thing?

20 mins? Either you're not charging it properly ( could be a mistake on the WPS battery meter ) or you have a faulty battery in your Nano.

If you are running Rockbox on your iPod, it is NOT a 2nd generation Nano.
