These are things you can already check:
- if using windows: check that you don't have a recycle bin configured. if so empty and remove
- on your device: remove the recycled directory if there
- go to
menu -> info -> Rockbox info and press PLAY or NAVI and check the empty space shown there is correct. If not, something on your disk is using the space, find it
