File plays in iRiver 1.29k fw but not in Rockbox daily build

The program that encoded the file. And Rockbox can be modified to play the file too (the non-Archos models at least).

There are probably other programs too, but that's one I am aware of. Maybe Foobar2000 can do it with "Rebuild MP3 stream"?

Tried "Rebuild MP3 Stream" with Foobar, file still unplayable.  Was that supposed to be guaranteed to do the trick?

Nope. Hence the "Maybe" and the question mark... ;)

hehehe darn... knew I kinda understood that just a tad differently  :D  at least you pointed me in the right direction.   ;D now I just have to find a way to fix these files... thanks man!
