Are you sure it's an EQ preset and not a theme? None of the Rockbox default EQ config files contain any font configuration lines (I've just checked).
Alternatively, is it an EQ config from elsewhere that may just have additional config data in it by accident (it's just a regular .cfg file and could have any sort of configuration data in it...

I don't think this feature works in ID3 mode (how would it know what the next directory was if it's dynamic playlist wasn't created from a directory?), but I can never lay my hands on confirmation of this anywhere...

According to the manual, you must also have Repeat set to Off for the auto-change directory to work at all.

ok hmm.. im not sure how i would tell about the theme part of the eq thing.. but i tried making an EQ preset in rockbox while playing the x5 and then loaded it in the same theme and it changed the font to courier. it does it no matter what everytime.... this never happened on my ipod 5g, only on my X5. and as far as the Id3 thing.. i have repeat off.. but yeah  youre probably right about it recog. the folders.. that would be really awesome if it could though..

and another thing.. my x5 randomly wont want to play certain songs (the songs never start after sleecting them) in ID3 viewing mode .. but if i restart it works for that song.. and then does it for something else.. gah

Please open that eq-preset in a texteditor (notepad or the like) and paste the 'code' here.

I don't really know what you are trying to say, there. If you can explain exactly what you did, I or someone else may be able to help, as it should not be doing what you are describing.

EDIT: Yeah, doing as xlarge says will help us as well... :)

No.

X5 with (albeit a bit old) cvs 061011 version with your eq-file does not change font for me.

weird INDEED.

I've just tried with todays cvs, doesn't change font either.

Try to reset all your settings.. just change font and then enable eq + load a preset.
See if it changes font on you then.
