Easy way to add themes

(1/1)

oswaldkelso:
As you may know the themes are invisible on you ipod and if like me your not so hot on the cl just use tinkertool.

http://www.bresink.com/osx/TinkerTool.html

After installing you can check the show hidden and system files box and just drag and drop themes fonts etc into the required folders on your ipod.

After you've updater your themes dont forget to uncheck hidden and system files again.

hope it helps

The .rockbox directory is normally hidden on Unix-like operating systems.

bluebrother:
I created a plugin for easier theme installation but it requires a new theme format (as I'm planning to write a patch that extends Rockbox to use that theme files directly). Have a look at this task:
http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/6156 (I was also working on a bash script that converts the usually used zip files to that theme format. Hopefully I can add that to the task soon)

or...you can use terminal.

--- Code: ---defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true
--- End code ---

use that. then cmd+opt+esc...relaunch finder.

same thing using FALSE instead of TRUE to get back.

no extra software required.
