ipodpatcher problem - 5g

during an instalation I can not find ipodpatcher number. Ipod is pluged into computer and shown as hard drive. I passed "ipodpatcher 26" and nothing has happened. Can anybody help? thx

When did you get your Ipod 5g?

I have same problem. Ipodpatcher can't find the device. I have new 80gb ipod, only about one week old.

This is the error I get:

Error opening disk: The system cannot find the file specified.

The 80gb "5.5g" iPod is not supported at this time. Neither is the 30gb "5.5g" only the older 5gs work.

Probably I have latest 5g. Any suggestion to avoid itunes to transfer music?
