Switch to old Firmware on Iaudio X5L?

Is it possible to switch to the old Firmware on X5L if you should have any trouble with Rockbox?
Can you choose Firmware when you start X5L?
Is there any chance that my X5Ls Rockbox can crash and leave the Mp3-player totaly usless?  :-\
Should i give it a try? ;)

You mean the original iAUDIO firmware?
Yes, download the current version from their iaudio.net website.
When you decide to install it, copy that file in the folder firmware.
Connect the power to the subsystem and the firmware gets loaded.

There is a dual-boot bootloader available (written by RaeNye). See the iAudiophile forums for links and info.

Rockbox is pretty safe, to my knowledge there has never been a bricked X5 caused by Rockbox.
