Recording on Nano

Hello,
I was reading the Device Comparison Chart (http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/DeviceChart) and noticed that the Nano has recording capabilities... uh... How does it do this? Can I record like... Voice Clips or somthing?

Very confused.

The debug mode on the Nano has a "Line-in test" but I don't believe it's been confirmed yet as to whether it really has recording hardware. I think the chart may be based on an assumption regarding that entry.

It uses the WM8975 DAC IIRC, so it should have the hardware.  I guess if anyone really wanted to record on it, they'd have to find a dead Nano, pull off the WM chip, and see if the line in pin is connected to teh dock connector (assuming no one has actually bothered to do this already.  If it is, then supporting it should be relatively straightforward.
