rockdoom cheats

how could i use rockdoom with cheatcodes?

I feel cheats ruin the game. Why would you buy (or in this case download) a game so you could input a code and have the levels unlocked. A game is supposed to be a challenge. So how about playing the game and not cheating?

Sorry to resurrect such an old post, but my topic is the same as before. I would like to see cheat codes instituted in the game.

Even without keyboard input, this could be done by adding a menu option in the game where you can toggle them on or off.

I ask this because Doom is rendered practically impossible at Ultra-Violence difficulty, at least using the Gigabeat's not-made-for-FPS controls. Also, I find playing Doom in god mode with all weapons rather Zen.

Granted some people find cheat codes sacrilege, but by now, anyone who wants to beat Doom the proper way has already done so.
