ARTISTSORT/TSOP feature

A while back, there was a discussion regarding bands starting with "The", and what people do to avoid filing them under "T".

Towards the end of the discussion, there was mention of some tags (TSOP and TSOA for ID3; ARTISTSORT and ALBUMSORT for Vorbis comments) that tell software to sort on something other than the artist or album.

Well, I just bought a Squeezebox and it supports ARTISTSORT and ALBUMSORT--and let me tell you, this is the coolest thing ever.  No longer do I need to make convoluted nonsensical tags like "Brubeck, the Dave Quartet".  I just call it "The Dave Brubeck Quartet" and have it sort under "Brubeck, Dave".

Anyway, I definitely think RockBox should support this someday.  Currently I can use Rockbox in file/folder browsing mode to achieve the same effect (because my folders are based on the ARTISTSORT tags), but it'd still be great to have this in tagcache.

Any other experiences with this feature--hints, suggestions?  I'm now considering using ALBUMSORT to make albums sort chronologically.  Sorry to gush over this, but this feature has really made my day.  I can finally tag my music properly!

Post a feature request in the appropriate place detailing this. I at least rather like the idea. :)

Done, thanks.  I'm no expert on the topic but now there's a feature request to hang comments on (and maybe, some day, code!)
