iRiver H10 (6gb): USB connection

How do you transfer data to your MTP player via USB? My Win XP SP1 does not recognise the player once booting Rockbox. I can see the data when booting using the UMS trick, but from within Rockbox all I can manage is charge the battery.

USB doesn't work with rockbox yet.

barrywardell:
Hold the right button down while you plug in the USB cable and Rockbox will restart your H10. Continue to hold the right button and your H10 will start up in UMS mode, the same as with the UMS trick.
It's not a perfect solution, but since Rockbox doesn't really have support for USB on the H10 yet, it's the best we can do.

I did not know that, it's neat! It displays briefly a custom image with the USB logo and then boots it in UMS. That will do me fine for now! Thanks.
