iRiver H1xx : Turn off LCD (and LCD remote) ?

Hey all,

I've been using RockBox since 3 weeks and I haven't found any option that allows me to turn off the big LCD on my H140 or even on my remote. I know many new mp3s have this function that saves a lot of battery time.

Is it implemented in RockBox ? If so where ? Or if it's not, why ?

Sorry if it has been posted before, I used the search function but got no good results for this kind of topic.

I created a "blank" wps for the main screen.  It won't actually switch off the LCD in a technical sense, but it will save battery life.

Copy this to your .rockbox/wps directory and select it by:

menu>general>settings>display>browse .wps files

select "blank" for the main screen

If you want to go back, just select another wps.

But isn't there a way to completely turn it off after a timeout delay ? It would be very useful.
