as in:
01 - Track One.mp3
02 - Track Two.mp3
03 - Track Three.mp3

I understood that he had done that.

This is important - If you have your 'Sort Files' setting to anything other than alphabetical (e.g By Date, By Newest Date, By Type) then the playlist will be created in that same order.

--- Quote from: jamfreak on October 05, 2006, 05:39:24 PM ---I'm mostly listening to my iAudio X5 in 'Shuffle' mode (usually I shuffle all of the music folder). At certain times I want to turn 'shuffle' off and the player plays songs in alphabetical order instead of track order. Is there any way to change this behavior so once I turn off 'shuffle' the player starts playing songs chronological in track mode ( Track 1 then Track2 then Track3.....) Instead alphabetical mode like it does now?

Alternatively, I may not be understanding what you are currently expecting it to do. If by the 'Music' folder, you mean all tracks on your player, then it will certainly not play Track 1 then Track2 then Track3 of one album before moving to another, it will play all Track 1's in alphabetical order, then all Track 2's etc.

Yea, the post I was replying to got edited to clarify as I was making my original reply.  It appears all of us were using angled brackets to make our points, and they were getting trimmed out as invalid BBCode tags.

Also make sure the Track Number tag is correct. I know my version of Rockbox uses the Track Number tag to order the songs.
