Crashing problems with 5g iPod
« on: October 05, 2006, 02:26:08 PM »
I'll run you guys through exactly what I did:

I upgraded my 5g video iPod 30gigs to firmware 1.2
I installed rockbox again, using installer X
I replaced the directory in my iPod with a version I backed up before upgrade
I then copied the newest rockbox files from the website back on

I can play most of my films, music and podcasts, but when I try to play ExtraLifeRadio (by scott johnson), which is a podcast, it freezes. When I play it on rockbox, the sound works, but after a few minutes the screen freezes, so I have to reboot the iPod. I think it must be the length of the podcast that is causing this, as each one is over an hour long. This didn't happen before I upgraded, so I'm really confused.

Any suggestions?
