(1/1)

areeb:
ok.. so i'm looking at the zip file containing the 'rockbox' folder for the h10 and it has a file named mpegplayer.. but looking in the plugins on the actual device.. i cant find it... how do i get to it? and any idea when the mpegplayer will be able to support video w/ sound on the h10?

and correct me if im wrong but

u cannot record audio with the present rockbox port
u cannot tune into fm radio
u cannot browse music files using the "titles" in the id3 tags instead of the filenames

if u can do any of these.. anyone wanna tell me how? thanks :D

Llorean:
Mpegplayer should be explained in the manual. It is definitely explained in the PluginMpegplayer webpage. Many plugins are "viewers" meaning they're run automatically when you click on a file, rather than from the browse plugins list.

Please, please PLEASE read our posting guidelines in the announcements forum before posting again. We are strict about them.

- Recording is not supported yet on H10
- FM Radio is not supported yet on H10
- See TagCache in the manual for this feature.

First, please read our posting guidelines.  The use of abbreviations such as "u" is not permitted here.

"Play" an .m2v file.  For more information, go to the wiki and navigate to the PluginMpegplayer page.

The short answer is, "as soon as someone implements it."  Due to the nature of the Rockbox project, it is impossible to predict when that may be.  Our developers works on Rockbox when they have time.

Correct.

--- Quote ---u cannot tune into fm radio

Correct.

I believe that this is incorrect.  You can browse using ID3 information by using the Tag Cache.  For more information, check out the Rockbox Manual:  http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-h10/rockbox-buildch4.html#x7-290004
