Any plans for a zune port?

It's a very nice player, and has alot of potential.

Any plans for a zune port?

"First, don't ask Rockbox developers when they are going to port Rockbox to your platform. Ports are made by people who want to port, they are not done on request."

This and more is found here: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/NewPort

Zune screenshots from the inside

As you can see here:
Zune photos from the inside

GearLive has some screenshots on the Zune internal parts. Yes, they opened up a Zune and took photos of it!

I think you should take a look of its chipset.

Unfortunately, those photos aren't very good/detailed. We need fine, up-close, sharp photos/scans of the PCBs including all visible mounted circuits.

Thats a ridiculously powerful CPU for a DAP, even if you want to do 480p video decoding.  Maybe MS is thinking forward about HD support?

Wow, the Zune really is just like a Gigabeat S as I know that at least the i.MX31 and WM8978 are inside the Gigabeat too.

keytotime: do you know which wifi chip is used?

Aliask made a wiki page for the Gigabeat S. So far the Zune is the same:
