Tagcache issue, H120
Mikerman:
This happens to me periodically, seemingly with no pattern. I typically have rebooted (sometimes more than once) and it has gone away.
Solar flares?
;)
dawz:
I am getting the same error when trying to initialize tagcache on my iaudio x5
I've tried all the suggestions in this topic ( except backing up all my files and re-formatting as I don't have the available space right now to do this ) and still get the error.
I used foobar2000 to re-write all my tags to ID3v2+ID3v1 and sorted them in media tagger by tag type to ensure that no ape existed.
I removed all album art also and I still get the Committing 1/7 message after I re-boot the player... I tried deleting the .tmp tagcache file numerous times and each time re-initialized but the message is always the same after re-booting and I noticed that the initialization of the tagcache runs for a much shorter period of time ( under 5 minutes before it stops )...
This only happens when I use recent cvs builds... When I revert back to a build from June, I can complete the tagcache ok.
I've been going at this all day and am out of idea's right now, so any help would be greatly appreciated
