Why not have nested playlists?
« on: October 04, 2006, 04:00:37 PM »
I tried to combine a bunch of playlists in "super-playlist" by listing the names of the playlists in the "super-playlist".

This works pretty fine in Winamp which builds a playlist form the listet ones and resolves this perfectly.

If I try the same on rockbox it fails (No file, no artist). Why can't I call a playlist from another playlist?

Because it hasn't been implemented. See Flyspray for a feature request for that feature.
