you are welcome. :) If I were you I would recode the playlists. You can use the already mentioned iconv.

I am very thankful for the unicode support in Rockbox because I use at least:
West European, Central European and Cyrillic scripts. It is not possible to use two of them simultaneously without unicode.

Hi there,
I would like to do the same because the converter seems not to work for me and since I'm travelling at the moment it would be easier just to get the old build again, but I can't find it anywhere, so I would be really glad if someone (or you heze :)) can send me that old build (or just the latest that still supports playliste with umlauts).
