USB connected logo - where to find?
(1/1)
Svyat:
Hi there!
Hope that this is the correct forum. I did some web research on the topic but couldn't finde the answer. 44 kBit/sec modem lines are a pain in the arse!
I would like to change the USB-connected-screen (the one with the big USB logo) by adding my contact info - it seems to be the screen that is shown for the longest time. In http://www.rockbox.org/mail/archive/rockbox-archive-2004-04/0094.shtml Linus says, that the USB logo is in the screens.c, but I can't find it there and have no idea, if he's referring to the logo I search. Could anyone give me a hint, where to find it? And which dimensions it should have? I guess it's supposed to be B/W?
Regards
Svyatoslav
bluebrother:
looking into apps/screens.h reveals the following line:
--- Code: ---gui_logo_draw(&usb_logos[i], &screens[i]);
--- End code ---
and after grepping for usb_logos it can easily found: look at apps/gui/logo.c

OK, thanks, that's sweet for a start. So I got the line
--- Code: ---usb_logo_main[] = {

I guess I'd "just" have to exchange the part between { and } with a custom B/W image. But what dimensions may it have?
Or is it even more difficoult?
Greets from Siberia!
