Difference between x5 and x5v?

I'm fairly new to the site and it is possible that I just missed this somewhere, but I was curious as to what the differences are between the x5 and the x5v firmwares.  I searched this site, google, and the x5 manual and didn't find much.  My apologies if this is a dumb question, but a simple and quick reply is all I am looking for.  I already installed the x5v firmware before, but noticed that my unit would get really warm and the battery life was quite a bit worse (and I've read a bunch of threads on this but still haven't found the answer.)  I didn't know if this would be caused from using the wrong rockbox firmware for my unit or not.  I'm guessing no, but I would still like to know the difference between the firmwares.  Thanks for all your hard work!

The X5 firmware is for the X5 and X5L units. The X5v firmware is for the X5v unit.

Wasn't even aware there was an x5v unit.  Thanks for the reply!

The X5V is a cheaper version of the X5 without an FM radio tuner.
