This patch was just rejected; given the votes above, perhaps I'm not so crazy....

I'm honestly not sure why it was rejected, most of the devs agree that many of the menus could be reorganized. It's entirely possible that it was rejected in more of a "This will probably be included in the global cleanup, but keeping an open task on it is messy" sense, in which case it should've been "Invalid" rather than "Rejected." It'd kinda be nice if people posted clear rejection messages.I tend to write about a paragraph, as I'm obviously quite long winded, but I think that's better than writing nothing at all.

yeah, sorry, i closed that well after midnight and was getting too lasy to write full close comments.

it indeed will be part of the global menu cleanup... the only thing needed is someone to come up with a proposal which everyone agrees on.
