Plugins and viewers missing from iriver and iaudio dailies

Just download the latest daily for my H120, only to discover that all plugins and viewers were missing.

After a bit of checking it seems that all iriver and iaudio dailies since 2006-09-25 are missing them. Ipod and H10 builds seem to be unaffected.

I can't think of a good reason for the change, so has a mistake crept in here somewhere?

just use cvs builds.

Yes. Just use the CVS builds for the time being, as in most cases they're what you should be using anyway.

If the dailys since 0925 are missing them, how could the CVS builds have it? Aren't the dailys just whatever the CVS would be at midnight (or some other time)

The CVS builds are constructed using the distributed build system. The Dailies are all compiled on the same one server. So, occasionally there can be differences in the results, of the main server's acting funny. I'm not really sure what happened here, to cause the problem, but the CVS builds do apparently have the plugins.

The m68k compiler was too old on the build server. I have now upgraded it, and the daily builds should work again, beginning with 2006-09-28.

Plugins are a huge waste of developer time and user head space!
