Optimum album art resize dimensions?

Hi,

Practically all my album art is 300x300. Im wondering whats the best size for the bmp resize/album art to downsize to?

Is it best to divide by 4? Therefore is 75x75 be best?

What other sizes could I use in order to avoid the resizing artifacts?

ps. Using a Nano.

Any decent image program should do a Lanczos resample (plus the fact you will be saving as a bitmap, not double-lossy-compressing as a .jpg) giving you very acceptable results regardless of resize ratio.
I just played a bit, and shrinking from 300x300 to 1502, 1402, and 1302, I saw no difference in level of artifacting.
