European 100GB ARCHOS AV700 ?

I'm thinking of buying a 100GB ARCHOS AV700 but the seller lists "(SCART In & Out for European version)" and that makes me think that this is a European version. Is there such a thing? If not (meaning there's only one version of the unit) would I simply buy NTSC I/O cables and that's that?
