Problem with Ipod 5g

(1/1)

philipptr:
After droping my Ipod being connected to the pc, I got the folder Icon with exclemation mark. I tried ipodpatcher.exe -w 1 bootpartition.bin and as it didnt work i tried  ipodpatcher.exe -w 1 rockboot.bin . Still I cant get to my data laying on the ipod (explorer.exe idles when i try to acces the files and tells me somewhen that my ipod isnt formated.
While being connected over usb the ipod shows the rockbox usbloader.
Can i somehow acces my data before reseting the ipod with the apple software?

accel:
the folder with the exclamation mark means your ipodis messed up, doesnt it?   i dont think you can boot into the original firmware

philipptr:
yes... I already realised that I cant boot the firmware anymore :/

philipptr:
well since I cant even use the ipod updater to revert it to factory settings does someone know how to do it? also ipodpatcher gives an error when reading the current firmware :/

C:\rockbox>ipodpatcher.exe -r 1 a.bin

I slowly begin to get worried...  :(

Llorean:
You dropped your iPod, and then it stopped working. I think you should already be worried. I'm guessing the disk may be damaged.
