Cannot boot to Apple firmware

Double checked and I extracted the one that Kreator666 said to use.  I'm pretty sure that the bootpartition.bin I've extracted is the correct one.

Well, writing a proper bootpartition.bin using ipodpatcher should create the same boot partition that restoring would. The fact that you can get Rockbox suggests there's not anything majorly wrong with it, but that's really strange. I guess copy off your music, and restore, and see what happens. =/

No need.  iTunes decided that I downgraded and updated my firmware.  Don't know when that was, but I guess problem is solved after all.  Thanks to all, especially Llorean.
