Please Help: Cannot update my songs

In the file browser, with "Show Files" set to "Music"?  I find that hard to believe.  You MUST be viewing in "ID3 Database" mode.

If that's the case, I personally can't help you as I don't use Tagcache, and the only thing I could suggest is rebuilding your database.  I looked through the thread and didn't see confirmation that you deleted your TCD files and reindexed.

Also, you mentioned music showing up twice.  If it's still doing that after you reindex, check for a hidden folder in the root named "recycled" or something similar.  Windows likes to put deleted files in there.

I fixed everything just by uninstalling and installing rockbox again. Still don't know the problem was, but it's fixed now so thanks to everyone who replied.
