How to install Rockbox on a 1.2 firmware (5th gen and 1st gen Nano)

Hi, one of the earlier firmware should be included in the installation page at the bottom.

Any info out there yet for the 5th gen that came with v1.2? I don't seem to be able to go back to previous version and the ipodpatcher.exe won't find my ipod video 30g...

When it comes to iPods, I'm not sure about anything... It was not working at all when I got it. 1hr on tech with India and she couldn't fix it so she transferred me to someone in US. 12 minutes later, it was working but she told me I couldn't drag and drop songs from my PC into Itunes. I told her I did it with my Nano and she said, "You shouldn't have been able to do that"... pretty funny if you ask me.
No, I'm not sure it isn't the 5.5. Haven't heard of it. I received it on the 22nd from Apple Store Online so I'm sure it is the latest and "greatest" so I guess it will be a while before a "mod" for it.

No, if it was from August, it wouldn't be the 5.5G. The "latest" isn't a month old yet.
