well I have picked up the torch.
I don't know how far I will carry it, but I have gotten some bin files to load.

so far it looks like it has a hard time displaying correctly on anything but the ipod video simulator.
here is what it looks like on the sansa simulator.

after I get the screen resolved I will start on key mapping
