You need to have the album art patches installed, or a build with album art patches installed, before you can view album art.

Besides the album art patches, you also need to have bitmaps of the cover art saved in the appropriate folders on your iaudio to be able to display the album art.
For example, if you have your music stored in /artist/album/ directories, in each album folder you need a 100x100 bitmap file of the cover art for the album art patch to find to display.

Because .jpg images need to be decompressed to .bmp anyway in order to be displayed.  Having them in .bmp format saves CPU resources on the player.

You can IrFanView to convert your files.

^ manually. i dont know about mediamonkey, but from what  youve said, it seems like it edits the ID3 tags which isnt where rockbox looks for album art. You have to manually transfer the album art to the folders for the songs

There are programs out there that will do the job.  I don't remember what any of them are called, but I'm sure that a Google search would yield some useful results.

No undescribed links to executables please. Also please use the URL tag unless you are explicitly referring to an FTP site.

What llorean was trying to convey is that a link to an executable is a bad idea.

Link to a site with the executable, and the url tag works like this:

Code: [Select]
[url=http://the.site.com/the/path/thefile.ext]the description we see[/url]

Most people are wary of direct links to executables on a forum, we like to see the main homepage of the software.

For example, Here is the page about 11view on Stratopoint's website
