Was there ever a Virus in V4.53?

I'll get it on the wire and poke around a little and see what I can find...it's damned strange though.

DL'd and installed latest version of Rockbox.  Still does it, though not as often.

xlarge:
sounds awfully strange... test those mp3s in another player... software player like winamp or xmms or such... i've heard about garbled mp3s during transfer to device before...
