Bootloader version info?

Hello,

Is there somewhere within the Rockbox options where the version of the installed bootloader is shown? Elsewhere on this site under the installation instructions it mentioned that the bootloader is updated every now and then and that you may want to update it:

Note: If you already have the Rockbox bootloader installed, but wish to update it to a more recent version...

Also where would the Bootloader latest version/download information be located on the website?

The bootloader shows its version number when booting. From within rockbox there is no option to get that number AFAIK.
For the latest version see the download page. The complete link is also stated in the manual.

I think prior to the V5 bootloader on iRiver H100 series, they don't show a version number (or at least, someone was using an outdated one and reporting not seeing one, I only have second hand information about this bit). So, if you have one of those players *and* don't see one, you are out of date.
