Bootloader doesn't work on iPod Photo

When I try ./ipod_fw -o apple_os.bin -e 0 bootpartition.bin, I get this error:

fread failed: Success

When I go on and try ./ipod_fw -g photo -o rockboot.bin -i apple_os.bin bootloader-color.bin, I get the same error und my rockboot.bin won't work.

How can I solve this problem?

Are you actually typing the slash in?

I solved the problem by using the make_fw.c-Tool from ipodlinux.org.
