(1/2) > >>

bruno:
hi,

i'll have a garantie problem with my ipod video (rainbowcolours on the screen) and so i must send it back to the apple service

how can i delete the rockbox bootloader? i'll think it's better  ;D

Llorean:
Uninstallation is covered in the exact same place as Installation in the wiki.

bruno:
thx, i'll have a look......

bruno:
ups, i'll need the bootpartition.bin? never thought that i must go to the orginal apple firmware, shit!

is it possible to go another way? perhaps over apple ipod update?

(sorry for the questions, but i'll have the ipod since 4 weeks, and before i used the apple sw i'll installed rockbox  ;D ) the last years i'll used rockbox on my archos 20gb (r.i.p.)

Llorean:
You can use the Apple Update tool yes. Either upgrading to a new version, or doing the restore, both will remove Rockbox (though if you do the update, you'll still need to delete the Rockbox files as well.)
