You hit the nail on the head...at this time viewports are just a concept... ;)

Very much so. It's an idea that everyone would like to see implemented, but nobody wants to spend the time on. ;)

Though I can see why, since it's mostly graphical flash, with a lot of playback stuff needing work still, and I agree that good audio features should definitely be the higher priority. With of course, having everything work being the highest. ;)
